Five practical, interactive 2-hour live online workshops (MS Teams) that help public administration employees and leaders work confidently with AI, data protection, digital security and change. You can book each module on its own or as part of the full series.

Your Trainers

Regina Roos is a sales leader, strategist and trainer working where industry, digitalisation and electrification meet. Her career includes ABB and Schneider Electric, and today she works at Typhoon HIL on digital twins and HIL technology. She is a board member of ECPE, active in IEEE Diversity & Inclusion, and has taught in China, Germany, Switzerland, Mexico and Australia. She works in German, English and Spanish.

Sadredin Ludwig Sahesch-Pur is a strategist, trainer and expert assessor with international experience across the USA, China, Europe and Africa. He specialises in critical infrastructure, digitalisation and technical risk management. He is Vice President of Swiss Engineering STV, a member of VDI, IEEE and WUAV, and holds an Honorary Doctorate (USA) in International Leadership.


Module 1 – AI Fundamentals & AI Tools in Public Administration

ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and other AI assistants are already being used in pilot projects across many public authorities. This workshop shows how to use them responsibly and in compliance with the law, and where their limits lie.

Module 2 – AI Literacy: Think Critically, Act Confidently

This follow-up module is for people who already use AI tools and want a deeper, more critical understanding. It covers how to spot risks such as hallucinations and bias, and how to use AI responsibly in daily work.

  • How "real" AI differs from simple automation
  • Risks from hallucinations, bias and data protection breaches
  • Methods for checking AI-generated content
  • How to recognise deepfakes and AI-written text
  • Quality assurance when using AI in casework
  • EU AI Act risk categories in detail

Format: fact-checking exercises, analysis of real AI errors, breakout group work, and a personal handout

Who it's for: staff with some AI experience. It is especially useful for IT officers, data protection officers and team leads responsible for quality.

Module 3 – Using Digital Tools Safely, at Work and at Home

Digital security doesn't stop at the office door. Careless habits at home can put work data and systems at risk. This workshop builds personal digital skills so participants can use digital tools safely and with privacy in mind, both at work and in private life.

  • Digital identity and your GDPR rights in everyday life
  • Strong passwords and password managers for work and home
  • Setting up and using two-factor authentication (2FA)
  • How to tell GDPR-compliant cloud services and apps from risky ones
  • Social media and online fraud: phishing, smishing and vishing
  • Working securely from home: router, VPN and screen lock

Format: a personal security self-check, scenario analysis, individual recommendations, and a "My Digital Security" checklist

Who it's for: all employees, with no technical background needed. It is especially valuable for remote and mobile workers.

Module 4 – Data Protection & GDPR in Administrative Practice

In public administration, data protection is a legal duty, not an optional extra. Fines, citizen complaints and security incidents show that many authorities are still not fully prepared for GDPR. This workshop gives practical data protection knowledge for daily work.

Module 5 – Digital Leadership & Public Sector Modernisation

Digital transformation only succeeds when leaders understand the change, model it and actively guide it. Hierarchical structures, skills shortages and rising citizen expectations all call for new leadership skills. This closing module combines digital competence with a modern leadership culture for the public sector.
